 Sports and intelligence

Exercising is not just for losing weight and building muscle, if you think so, it seems time to prove you wrong!!

There are many studies that show day after day that sports have a very effective role in developing your mind and increasing your intelligence, and the role of sports remains constant, whether for school students, adults or even the elderly.

Most people don't realize that the brain is very resilient and that it can improve even after it has been damaged. Exercise is the best way for your brain to become fully productive, by improving the way neurons work and the connections between cells, which protects them from any  Harm.

Through experiments on animals, scientists found that during the activity of these animals, their nerve cells secrete vital substances, the most important of which is brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which causes other reactions that lead to an increase in the level of nerve performance, which in turn affects the higher functions of the brain.

There are other indirect ways that sports help, including:

1- Enhanced nerve protection by secreting important vital compounds

2- Increase blood flow to the brain

3- Reducing the risk of heart disease.

If you, dear reader, appreciate the value of exercise, you may want to make it a constant part of your life, so that your mental abilities develop as you get older, rather than atrophy as most people do.
